October 19, 2024, marked a significant milestone for Santhi College of Nursing as it welcomed its 14th batch of B.Sc Nursing students. The momentous occasion was celebrated with an inaugural ceremony, attended by distinguished guests, faculty members, parents and students.
The program commenced with a prayer, setting a solemn and positive tone for the event. Mr. Jaseem M.K., Administrator of Santhi Academy welcomed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of the nursing profession and the role of Santhi College in shaping future healthcare professionals.
The presidential address was delivered by Jnb. M.K. AhammedKutty, Manager of Santhi Academy who spoke about the values and vision of the institution. The event was officially inaugurated by Jnb. M.K. Muhammedali, Chief Patron of IWTO and Chairman of the Integrated Education Council of India. In his inauguration speech, Jnb. M.K .Muhammedali emphasized the vast future opportunities available in the nursing profession and stressed the importance of humanity and compassion in nursing care.
Dr. Sheeja Mathew, Principal, Santhi College of Nursing delivered the Principal's address, focusing on the college's commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The keynote address was given by Jnb.E.K. Muhammed, General.Secretory IWTO and Executive Director, Santhi Hospital, who shared valuable insights about the evolving role of nurses in modern healthcare.
The event also included felicitation speeches by notable guests including Mr. Mubarak, General Manager of Santhi Hospital, Prof. Prakashan G ,Principal Santhi Institute of Allied Health Science, Mrs. Siniya A M, Principal, Santhi school of nursing and Mr. Yunus Saleem, PTA President. Each speaker commended the college for its contribution to healthcare education and encouraged the new batch of students to dedicate themselves to their studies and future profession.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Abid Faheem T.K, Vice Prinncipal, Santhi college of nursing who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
