Message from Principal

Santhi College of Nursing was started in the year 2011, under the aegis of the Islamic Welfare Trust, with sanction for intake of 50 students for BSc Nursing course. The college and hostel building are located in the scenic, nature friendly and pollution free campus at Venappara, far from the noise and crowd of Omassery town with all natural beauty and greenery around. I feel proud to say that, right from the beginning of the College, it has earned a great name and is recognized as one of the best Nursing Educational institution maintaining high standards of Nursing Education, in Calicut District.

The Nursing Degree course is based and built on sound scientific educational theory and practice that focuses not only on professional skills, but also on attitude and character. It aims to create exemplary citizens of the graduates who fulfill the personal, social and professional obligations in preparation to respond to national aspirations. Highly qualified and motivated professionals serve as role models and are committed to facilitate student centered, enquiry driven and self directed learning which will promote professional socialization and to foster an attitude of lifelong learning. We are providing outstanding facilities and help the students achieve great success.

The College is committed to inculcate strong moral and ethical values in our Nursing students, which are essential to make them dedicated Nurses. We work for the overall development of personality of the students by not only focusing on academics but also involving the students in lots of co-curricular activities including cultural activities and sports. We also demonstrate commitment to research to address the challenges through evidenced based practices.

We strive to surge for outstanding educational outcomes through continuous quality improvement in education, practice and research, exemplified by graduates who will be recognized for their excellence, leadership skills and compassionate care at regional, national and global level.
