Santhi School of Nursing, under the Islamic Welfare Trust, is a recognized institution by KNMC&INC. Candidates seeking admission to GNM must have successfully completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, obtaining a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination and English individually, from any recognized board. A science group background is preferred, although candidates from other groups will also be considered in the absence of science group candidates.

2. Reservation
For disabled candidates, a 3% disability reservation will be considered for those with a locomotor disability of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity. Other eligibility criteria regarding age and qualification will be the same as prescribed for each nursing programme. SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 5% in total marks.
Admission/intake of candidates will be as per the sanctioned strength permitted by INC.

5. AGE
The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission, with an upper age limit of 35 years.
The Diploma Course in General Nursing and Midwifery has a duration of 3 years. The maximum period allowed to complete the General Nursing and Midwifery Course is 6 years.
